The National Institute of Geology and Mining (INGEOMIN) is an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecological Mining Development (MIDME), created on September 28, 1999, with the strategic vision of developing interdisciplinary research from a technical-scientific perspective in the areas of geology, mineral resources, geophysics, geochemistry, geotechnics, and other related areas.
